IF YOU ENJOY FISHING  Lake Ida features a wide variety of fishing action from sunfish & crappie to northern & smallmouth bass.  The lake is well known for excellent walleye & bass fishing.   Lake Ida is a beautiful crystal clear lake with  depths ranging from 10 to 110 feet

Alexandria is only 15 minutes away & offers plenty of entertainment adventures for everyone.  There are several golf courses, unique specialty and antique shops, a shopping mall, mini-golf, a 9 screen movie theatre, stock car racing every weekend and a wide selection of restaurants.   Close by there is horseback riding &  the Carlos Creek Winery that features tours and entertainment most weekends.
